ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Admissions in Sainik School, Muradnagar are meant for boys and girls. The students are admitted in classes 3rd onwards on the basis ofanAII India Entrance Examination conducted by the School.

AGE

Candidates who have attained minimum 7 years ofage for class Ill and adding I year to the next consecutive class as on 1 stApril ofthe year in which admission is sought are eligible to take the examination.

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

Admission to Classes Ill to VII is granted strictly on the basis of an Entrance Examination which is conducted on the designated dates. The Entrance Examination will consist of a Written Test of 100 marks and the personal Interview of 25 marks.

Note: The medium and language for Entrance Examination can be opted either English or Hindi. The standard of examination would be the CBSE Syllabus of previous class passed by the student, means for Class Ill the standard of entrance exam would bee uivalentto the Class Il and soon.

QUALIFYING STANDARDS FOR ALL THE CLASSES

The minimum qualifying marks in the written examination are 50%.

PHYSICAL EXAMINATION & INTERVIEW

Qualified candidates will be called tör Personal Interview (PI). The final merit list is prepared on the basis ofmarks obtained by the candidates in the written test, Medical Test, Physical Test and Interview. Admissions are given on the basis of final merit list. Physical Examination and Final Interview will be schedule in CBS Sainik School, Muradnagar campus only (subject to Government guidelines at that time).

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

Parents/Guardians of the students who have cleared the Entrance Examination are to furnish the following at the time of admission:

• Medical Report.
• Adhaar Card of Student & Parents.
• Six self-addressed envelopes.
• Six photographs of the Student and one each of the parents.
• Demand Draft in favour of CBS Sainik School, Payable at Muradnagar, Ghaziabad for the prescribed fee.
• Transfer Certificate (TC) duly countersigned by the officer authorised (within 30 day of Admission).
• Proof of Defence/SC/ST/OBC/BPL/EWS category.
• Photographs of the relative who shall be next guardians of the child (if any) duly attested by the parents.

MEDICAL EXAMINATION

Candidates, who have been qualified in the written exam and personal interview, need to go through a medical examination by an MBBS doctor and submit the Medical Fitness Certificate before the Physical Examination & Interview.
